PRR K4 1361 was born in the Altoona Works of the Pennsylvania Railroad in 1917. She was one of 525 K4s class steam locomotives built between 1914 and 1928, and was designed to haul heavy freight trains across the rugged terrain of the Appalachian Mountains.
